G4 Construction Management is a commercial construction company specializing in restaurant and hospitality general contracting. We provide services throughout the Midwest; primarily working with major corporate hospitality operators, franchisors, and franchisees. We are looking for a Project Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

  • AP data entry and reconciliation for subcontracts and purchase orders

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, taxes, and other financial reports with management team

  • Setup of new clients, vendors, and construction jobs in accounting/construction applications

  • Assist in the creation, posting, and distribution of AP check runs

  • Manage and audit employee expense reports for accuracy

  • Assist in developing and analyzing reports for business operations

  • Perform general ledger audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements

  • Create and collaborate in new processes to improve financial efficiency

  • Report analysis and findings to management team

  • Assist in month end and year end internal audit and closing processes

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or background in accounting or other related fields

  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools

  • Detailed and deadline-oriented

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Team player that thrives in a collaborative environment
